Structure
The Medical Education Unit is a part of the Melbourne Medical School in the university’s Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Our major role is the development and support of our own medical curriculum, and through consultancies to other educational providers. We also facilitate and continuously improve the school’s assessment processes; evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program; undertake research related to medical education; and provide professional development opportunities to those who teach within the medical school or externally.
