Clinical Teaching Associates are women from the community who take part in actual breast and gynaecological examinations. They are trained to give medical students specialized guidance and feedback on their technical and interpersonal skills, and enhance their sensitive examination skills.
CTAs are also using for postgraduate training, such as DRANZCOG Resident Medical Officers, and in Continuing Medical Education programs.
