Recognising Excellence: Winners of the 2008 School of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Awards
Professor James Best, Head of the School of Medicine, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Teaching Awards.
These awards aim to recognise outstanding contributions to the School's teaching, and individual teaching excellence.
Dr Jennifer Hayes, Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology won the open award, and a team from the Medical Education Unit; Dr Jenny Conn, Dr Ruth Sutherland, Ms Margo Collins and A/Prof Agnes Dodds, were awarded the program award for their clinical skills program, Introduction to Clinical Medicine.
Ms Jennifer Keast, Rural Clinical School was awarded a citation for outstanding contribution to medical student learning.
The winners of the School of Medicine Teaching Awards will be presented with their awards during the orientation program for first year medical students in Semester 2.
