Dr Jonathan Knott
Jonathan Knott is an Emergency Physician at Royal Melbourne Hospital where he was a student before heading to Geelong Hospital for resident training. He completed his Fellowship in Emergency Medicine in 1999 and then undertook a PhD at the University of Melbourne on “The management of acute mental health presentations to Emergency Departments”.
Currently working as a staff specialist in the RMH Emergency Department, Jonathan is Head of Emergency Research and Education and supervisor for the RMH Emergency Medicine AMS students. He is on the Primary Examination, Clinical Trials and Trainee Selection committees for the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and a Scientific Leader for NICS within the Emergency Community of Practice. Jonathan joined the MEU in 2008 as the Clinical Sub-Dean for Emergency Medicine.
